I possess thirty years of management and director level experience in the power generation and industrial energy sectors. I have been the Plant Manager at four separate utility size power plants.
I possess “ground to grid” experience, taking greenfield projects through permitting, interconnection, system design, financing, procurement, construction, commissioning, and transition to commercial operations.
I have significant technical design experience, as well as procurement and project management.
HIGHLIGHTED EXPERIENCE
My technical experience includes: gas turbines, steam turbines, boilers, organic Rankine cycle (ORC) and all associated peripheral equipment. I have energy conversion experience with all conventional fuels. geothermal, biomass and waste heat.
I was a Rankine cycle, Brayton cycle and gas turbine training specialist at GE.
I was the Founder and President of Integral Energy Management LLC a consulting firm with 30 employees that specialized in the geothermal and renewable power sectors (IEM was sold to PE firm in 2008.) I was the Project Manager for the design and refurbishment of the 50 MW Bottle Rock geothermal power plant.
I recently designed, permitted and commissioned a gasification / electric generation facility operating on wood waste, tires and bio-solids in TN.
Designed a 280 MMBTU heat capture and pollution control system. Installed waste heat boiler in glass manufacturing. Consulted for Las Alamos Labs on multiple energy system upgrades.
